What is the 'Help for Heroes' Hadrian's Wall Christmas Hike?
'Help for Heroes' Hadrian's Wall Christmas Hike is a 85 mile, 6 day sponsored hike along the Hadrian's Wall National Trail. The hike will take place in the depths of British Winter, starting on the 28th December and finishing on the 2nd January. Participants will walk for 6 days, covering a distance of 14 miles per day and camping every night in temperatures that can reach -10 degrees Celcius. Particpants of this event are aiming to raise at least £500 each for the charity 'Help for Heroes' (charity number 1120920), who use fundraised money to help care for British soldiers who have been injured in service. So the more people who take part in this charitable event, the more money we will raise! Please be involved in this rewarding project by either doing the hike, or sponsoring us so we can raise as much money as we can for this great cause. Help us say thank you to our soldiers this christmas!
